Classic courses, legendary designers.

In the Adirondacks, the biggest golf challenge is paying attention to the shot at hand. Our courses are so scenic, from lake country to High Peaks region, it’s easy to get distracted by the scenic surroundings. From May into October, our well-manicured layouts offer great golf for the scratch player up to the weekend duffer. And you won’t find a more beautiful place to make a triple bogey.

Lake Placid High Peaks Region: Four championship layouts, including one – the Lake Placid Resort’s Mountain Course – designed by Alister MacKenzie, architect of the fabled Augusta National. Another – Craig Wood Golf Course – bears the name of a former U.S. Open and British Open champ who was born and raised in Lake Placid.

Saranac Lake Region: Offering an exquisite 18-hole track (Saranac Inn Golf Club) as well as a challenging nine-hole layout.

Lake Champlain Region: Superb championship courses in Westport and Ticonderoga, along with fine nine-hole layouts in Elizabethtown, Willsboro, Port Kent and Moriah.

Schroon Lake Region: A delightful nine-hole course to complement your vacation stay.
