So many fish,
so little time.
In
the Adirondacks, the toughest thing about our fishing is deciding where
to go and what species to target. You can fish big lakes, like Champlain
and Schroon, one day, then flyfish on the famed Ausable River the next.
If you’re in the mood for a backcountry brook trout experience,
we’ve got that, too. And our fishing season never ends; ice fishing
in the Adirondacks is about as good as it gets. Lake Placid High Peaks Region: Backwoods ponds, quiet streams and plenty of brook trout. Saranac
Lake Region: A chain of lakes offering fabulous fishing for trout,
bass, pike and panfish. Lake Champlain Region: Technically, Lake Champlain isn’t one of the Great Lakes. And the professional bass fishermen will tell you the bass fishing isn’t great – it’s incredible. Schroon
Lake Region: With the productive Schroon Lake and countless backcountry
ponds, including the remote Pharaoh Lake Wilderness Area. |
